But Sooner you move on, better it is for you!

Getting into a relationship can be a tough decision for anyone to make because you will allow that person to control your life.

Though it is exciting to get into a relationship and you will also feel happy knowing that someone loves and cares about you, it is still necessary that you love yourself first to avoid getting hurt.

How to Get Out of an Emotionally Abusive Relationship

If you feel that you have had enough and you no longer have the courage and strength to continue a relationship that you think doesn’t work, then here are some of the ways that you can do to end it up.  If you feel that you are emotionally abused maybe because your partner just doesn’t know how to respect your feelings, then maybe it is about time for you to stop and get out of the relationship.

Some Helpful Points to be Noted:

  • Try to get back your power – You have to be willing to let go of the relationship so it would be easier for you to move on without feeling so much depressed.
  • Put some limitations with the criticisms that your partner gives – You have to make your partner aware of the actions and words that can hurt your feelings. This will prevent him from hurting you emotionally.
  • Identify and consider the concerns of your partner – You don’t have to say yes at all times if you know that it is not right for you. Learn to refuse for the good of the relationship.
  • Be honest with yourself before your partner – When making decisions, you have to make sure that it comes from your heart. Think about it over and over again if you want to make the right thing.

Look for people who can understand you. They can help you accept leaving a relationship because of emotional abuse. You will feel enlightened, and they can provide you with new hope in life.
